Exhibition Design

This project was a pop-up exhibition campaign for the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus. The focus was on the debut of a complete 20-postcard set from the early Bauhaus period Postkarte für die Bauhaus.

Exhibit Plan

I wanted the design to honor the early spirit of the Bauhaus while also imagining what these designers might create a century later. The identity kept visual cues from postal aesthetics such as the border while building hierarchy and structure inspired by the Bauhaus grid.

To draw attention in a way that feels both tactile and clever, I used subtle visual metaphors for example, a mailbox handle as a lighting feature. The exhibit’s color palette featured bold, primary tones to stay true to the Bauhaus legacy, while the layout emphasized clarity, play, and historical resonance.
